I had off-road experience "for years" but never really joined a group, much less a run. Four years ago that changed when I decided that with my "new to me" 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road I wanted to be a bit for social and learn the area. I joined a local group, mustered up the courage to "know" I was gonna be laughed at as the newbie, and joined my first run. What transpired was the opposite. Everyone was extremely helpful, patient and encouraging! I was hooked, and with that started the modification game...
The Landcruiser is my 3rd "serious" vehicle. The Tacoma and a Subaru Crosstrek came before it. I run my own side business doing wrap and wiring/lighting, as that's where my true passion lies when it comes to customization. With the Subaru I started doing shows and events to be social and get out there. When I knew that I was getting a Landcruiser, I started looking at what was out (not much!) and coming. Both DV8 and Rago Fabrication were one of the first in and their products were not rough looking AT ALL! I started to gravitate that direction and here we are :)
